Helloween，万圣节乐队，是开始于1978的德国力量金属。这首Forever and One收录在 1996年的专辑The Time of the Oath. 这个乐队经过很多分合，现在还存在。其中一段故事让我动容。

鼓手Ingo Schwichtenberg 自1980加入乐队，到1993年因为吸毒，抑郁，精神分裂症被 乐队解雇，他拒绝吃药，精神分裂症会让他不由自主地哭泣，无法上台表演。因为他的被解雇，乐队也发生分歧，陷入低迷。Ingo在后面的两年一直无法走出吸毒和忧郁， 还有他一直都没法让自己走出被唯一呆过的乐队解雇这个事实。他在1995选择跳向了地铁的车头自杀，乐队成员和乐迷都很悲痛。
1996年Helloween出了这个专辑The Time of the Oath纪念他。这个专辑重新奠定了Helloween在欧洲的最受欢迎的金属乐队的地位。
这首Forever and One里唱腔有点象枪花的Rose，是感情和理智的冲突，歌里的主人公， 那样地爱恨交织地想念欺骗自己的爱人，明知道走近一步都是万劫不复，却无法让自己 不动感情。最终还是走回黑暗之中。尽管这样，这一切还是永远和唯一的。
唱到高音时的震撼让人感觉到主人公痛彻心腑，如此的矛盾。再想到乐队刚刚经过 的分分合合，生死两隔。无法不让人感叹。听这样这歌曲让人不由自主就想喝酒，在醉眼 开始朦胧，感觉身体漂浮的时候想着永远和唯一的问题。
